Ohio and Kebler Passes near Crested Butte are popular go-to locations for Colorado Fall Colors. And even though it has become more crowded over the years, it’s still worth the trip. The area grows some of the most beautiful aspen forests to be found. We had one incredible morning with heavy fog moving through the forests, providing mystical, atmospheric conditions. I spent most of my time here among the trees, not frequenting the grand scenes that attract the crowds of crossed-legged tripods.
